Pittsburgh Regional Transit is seeking a Service Person to perform unskilled service functions on vehicles, buildings, shelters, grounds, rights of way, and equipment, under general supervision.

Essential Functions

• Perform unskilled service functions, which include, but are not limited to various cleaning tasks such as: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, washing, wiping, scrubbing, mopping, and scraping. • Load, lift, salvage, and deliver material. • Check, inspect, fuel and fill fluids on revenue and non-revenue equipment and vehicles. • Operate basic cleaning and servicing equipment. • Operate and service revenue vehicles, non-revenue vehicles and other vehicles or equipment, as required. • Basic use of hand tools to perform various indoor and outdoor maintenance functions.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED. • Valid PA Driver’s License, Class C. • Obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License with Endorsement(s) within 90 working days for the department assigned as required by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. • This is a Safety Sensitive position subject to all testing provisions under the Drug and Alcohol Policy, including random drug and alcohol testing. The person selected for this position may be required to be tested prior to being awarded the job.
